Almeida Guzman Asociados informs that according to Art. 96 of the Organic Code of the Judicial Function, from August 1 to August 15, 2025 will operate the period of judicial vacancy in the Sierra and Amazon regions. The judicial recess suspends the deadlines and terms within the processes in process, in order not to violate any guarantee.
The recess referred to above shall not apply to the courts, tribunals and chambers of general and specialized criminal guarantees; and the family, women, children and adolescents courts. The actions of jurisdictional guarantees that are presented during the judicial recesses will be heard, prior drawing of lots, by the judges who continue working.
