By means of Executive Decree No. 249, the President of the Republic ordered the suspension of the working day on Friday, January 2, 2026, for both the public and private sectors, expressly establishing that such day will not be recoverable.
Consequently, the Decree grants the mandatory rest from January 1 to January 4, 2026.
Employers shall organize their activities in accordance with this provision and ensure continuity of services, as appropriate.
